When we got back from our Florida trip, we went to the SPCA in Long Beach and found a cat named Colton.  We waited a couple days and went back and picked him up.  He’s five years old but small for his age.  His name was selected by the SPCA and we didn’t notice it when we where playing with him.  It is a bit strange because Darren’s last cat was named “Cole”. 

  Colton is mostly cream colored with brownish tint on his back, a grey face and tail.  He has blue, slightly cross-eyed eyes.  He’s part Siamese and part Tabby and very sweet.

  Colton is already a “$1,000 Cat”!  We only had to pay $80 for him at the SPCA, but a few days after he came home with us he had a high fever and wouldn’t move.  Apparently upper respiratory infections are fairly common among cats from the pound.  I was traveling so Darren had to take Colton to the Animal Hospital... 3 days and $1,000 later he came home.
